What is a bitcoin mixer?

Bitcoin suffers from a serious flaw – every transaction leaves a trace that can be followed through the blockchain. The role of a Bitcoin mixer is to blend clients’ coins together so that this tracking becomes, if not outright impossible, then painfully slow and resource-intensive. A classical Bitcoin tumbler, however, tends to fall short here, because it accepts coins regardless of their origin and may end up handing over tainted money from one customer to the next.

Unlike such services, our platform features a built-in cleansing mechanism within the “Complete anonymity” mode. When activated, it launches a mixing procedure that delivers to you vetted coins with a spotless track record sourced from leading stock exchanges.

How to use the mixer?

Pick whichever option feels most secure and convenient to you:

A full step-by-step guide explaining how to work with our Bitcoin mixer is available here.

What is the cost of mixing and how long does it take to have my Bitcoins cleansed?

Our mixer supports two operating modes:

Get 10% off, if you submit a request for mixing through our telegram bot @mm5btc_bot

The commission value is generated at random, yet it always stays within the stated range.
Note! The mixing process begins only after the system registers the first confirmation for your incoming transfer.

How many transfer confirmations should there be before the mixing starts? Can this be sped up?

A single confirmation from the Bitcoin network is required. Sadly, we have no ability to hurry this process along. Transactions carrying a high miner fee usually reach confirmation within 5-20 minutes. Transfers with a very low miner fee, on the other hand, may stay unconfirmed for days. You are free to simply wait for your transaction to be confirmed, or alternatively use a transaction accelerator.

I accidentally closed my browser. What will happen to my money?

If your Bitcoins have already been sent to the mixer, they will come back to you within the timeframe stated in your letter of guarantee and determined by the selected mixing mode. In case the coins never reached our wallet, mixing simply does not begin, and your money stays where it was. Should that be the situation, just go ahead and submit a fresh mixing request.

How long does the generated address for transfer remain valid?

The generated transfer address stays active for 7 days (168 hours). Any payments arriving after this period will be disregarded. Please make sure to complete your transfer within this window.

Do you store any logs?

Logs are not kept on our side. Every bit of data linked to a mixing request is erased 24 hours after the cleansing is finished. From that point on the only proof that you used the mixing service is the letter of guarantee you received.
For an even higher level of anonymity, consider using our Tor mirror.

What are the maximum and minimum transfer amounts?

The smallest accepted transfer amount is 0,001 btc (this is also the only available amount for free trial users). Any transfers below this threshold are counted as donations. The largest amount allowed per single request is 1 BTC in the “Mixer” mode and 50 btc in the “Complete anonymity” mode.

Why should I trust you with my money? What is a letter of guarantee?

To resolve potential disputes and edge cases we rely on PGP-signed letters of guarantee. Every such letter lays out the full terms of the cleansing offer along with our PGP signature. Authenticity of the document is trivial to check, while forgery is effectively impossible.

To validate your letter of guarantee, feed it through any PGP client together with our public key. The full guide is available here. Alternatively, you can verify the letter of guarantee online via PGP Checker.

If you have any complaints about your request, simply forward us your letter of guarantee.
As for the return of the cleansed funds to your forward-to address(es), blockchain always provides definitive proof of whether it happened or not.

To verify the quality of cleansing in the "Complete anonymity" mode, refer to this instruction.

I did’t receive my money back. What do I do?

Don't panic! Start by checking your transfer on blockchain.info – confirm that your money went to the correct input address. If the transaction clearly went through, yet the funds never reached your forward-to address(es), get in touch with us and attach your letter of guarantee. We will investigate and try to resolve the issue as quickly as possible. Whenever a delay is caused by a service failure on our end, the commission is waived. A similar situation once arose because of large-scale DDoS attacks against the blockchain

I got a suspicious message from a mixer in Telegram acting as Mixer.money

Attention! There are clones and scammers pretending to be us in Telegram:

  • @mm5btcbot – fake
  • @mm5btc_bot_admin – fake
  • @MixerMoney_bot – fake

They have zero connection with Mixer.money . The goal of these bad actors is to persuade you to send your Bitcoins straight to them, claiming “it is safer, cheaper and more effective”.

Please remember that Mixer.money operates as a fully automated Bitcoin tumbler. Nobody on our side takes mixing orders or payments manually.

Those fake bots were obviously put together with a free bot-building service – one glance is enough to tell. If they hand you a letter of guarantee, you know what to do with it – run an immediate check using this instruction. Do not send any coins – they are guaranteed to disappear for good.

The safest approach is to reach our mixing service only through links on our official website and social-media channels. If any message looks like a scam to you, feel free to contact us.
